Credicorp Capital is a prominent financial services company and a key component of the Credicorp Group. Their extensive range of offerings includes investment banking, asset management, and brokerage services, primarily focused on the Latin American market.
To enhance communication and collaboration between their advisors and clients, Credicorp Capital recognizes the necessity for a robust web platform. Such a platform could potentially streamline interactions, provide real-time updates, and facilitate secure data sharing, ultimately improving the overall client-advisor relationship and service delivery

Challenge
The advisors at Credicorp recognized the importance of providing enhanced services to their clients, and thus, they sought a comprehensive platform. This platform was designed to offer advisors greater control over their clients' investments, enabling them to make informed decisions and deliver personalized services.
Key features of this platform include the ability to generate investment proposals tailored to individual client needs. Advisors can access transaction history and statements, ensuring transparency and efficient management of client portfolios.
Moreover, the platform serves as a digital promotion tool, facilitating investment opportunities for clients through an intuitive digital interface.
Goal
Enhancing advisor efficiency through digital platforms can significantly reduce the time spent on addressing diverse client concerns. Consequently, advisors can allocate more time to strategic business objectives, including promoting client investments.
The urgent need for digitalization in wealth management underscores the transformative potential of digital platforms in improving advisory services and ultimately benefiting both advisors and clients. In summary, leveraging digital platforms to reduce administrative burdens empowers advisors to dedicate their expertise to nurturing client investments and delivering a superior client experience.
Clients
Through interviews, we discovered that advisors were experiencing a high level of work-related stress due to the large number of clients they were assigned to (300), and the tedious nature of performing various repetitive tasks, which were not easily accessible to them. Different tasks were prioritized for execution through the commercial portal:
- Generate personalized investment proposals.
- Provide balance information through phone communication.
- Analyze the status of their investments to assist them in making decisions.
- Generate documents and client statements.

Home
At the outset of the platform, advisors gain immediate access to the most crucial and valuable tools for themselves and their clients. Furthermore, they have the capability to track their clients' investments across various companies, including those functioning as brokers and fiduciaries. This enables them to monitor the distribution of clients' assets among these entities. Lastly, advisors can access a month-to-month overview of their clients' investment balances
Client portfolio
In this flow, the advisor has the ability to view the investments of their clients, as well as those of the economic groups under their responsibility. Additionally, they have a search tool that significantly streamlines the location of clients in the list. Furthermore, this function allows them to review clients' historical transactions to analyze how they have managed their investments in the past
Suggested portfolio
Perhaps one of the advisors' favorite tools. In this workflow, users can select a client, suggest a portfolio based on their risk profile, and even recommend investment portfolios that differ from their clients' risk profiles. In just three simple steps, it can generate a suggested portfolio for clients and send it to their email, enabling them to make an informed investment decision
About design system and brand
The design system was meticulously crafted, drawing inspiration from material design principles and considering all available development capabilities. This system was meticulously developed using Figma, a versatile design tool, with a comprehensive approach. It incorporated various essential elements such as components, visual guidelines, states, guides, and detailed instructions to streamline its implementation.
Moreover, to ensure visual consistency across the diverse platforms within the financial holding, the brand of choice for creating this design system was that of CrediCorp Capital. This involved primarily incorporating the brand's distinctive colors, typography, and various components. The aim was to establish a unified visual language that harmonizes the design elements across all platforms, reinforcing a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.
This meticulous approach to design and branding not only ensures a consistent user experience but also reflects the commitment to professionalism and visual integrity within the financial holding's digital presence.
Limitations
Communication with the advisors during the construction of the portal was not optimal, as advisors have limited time to participate in co-creation processes. Additionally, the business department presented various requirements that influenced the prioritization of tools in a biased manner
Next steps
The construction of this portal took approximately 4 months and it was an MVP designed to address the core needs of an advisor. However, many other secondary needs were left unresolved. The portal will continue to undergo constant iteration, incorporating many more tools.
